This Friday we went to a Christmas party, where we didn’t get a picture with Mom and Dad before Melissa left because they were so busy with food. But, we did get sisters pictures.
^I had a world map dress! Thrift store found.
On Saturday, Clara and Amy and I helped at a carwash for Margaret to raise money for her intern account.
^ This is what it looked like most of the time. Holding signs, waiting for customers.
^ This was our entertainment. That, and Margaret and Arielle dancing while holding signs.
^ All of us, minus Amy.
^ We stopped at Starbucks on the way home.
november 14th was dorinda’s wedding. now they are mr. and mrs. greg and dorinda beeley.
i took most of these with film, in my 35mm slr.
waiting for greg!
peeking in at them between the partition and the wall.
^dorinda and sharlena
dorinda’s bridesmaids were her sisters, charlessa, susan, and lucinda.
the ideal version of this picture would include greg and dorinda kissing by the sign.
during the reception we all pinned clothespins on the single men. and sam won with 36. he got the garter.
we threw wheat on them as they ran out.
aka… shopping during school hours.
lunch at ruchi palace, clothes at old navy, metal things at joanns, fairy heads at michaels, applications at mardel and barnes & noble (for melissa.)
^ i got those orange pants. and a black and white stripey shirt, and a winter coat.
amy’s hair is very red… she put henna in it.
^amy got a huge umbrella at ikea. all big and yellow and blue with ikea on it. walking advertisement. it’s big enough to keep her and her backpack dry, as well as fit our entire family under.
^ i’m loving how the balloons look, aren’t you? this picture was rather hard to take… just because it was into the sun and i was afraid i was like burning out my sensor or something.
^ clara’s cake. this is what results of cake decorating skills after 9 at night. yes, 33 candles although she’s only 14.
we roasted hot dogs and had chili for dinner, and smores and cake and ice cream for dessert.
^ i’m not sure what she was reacting to… but it’s funny.
we all smell like smoke now.
clara and dad ate breakfast at norma’s cafe this morning. the traditional birthday breakfast.
^ the birthday cake. spice cake, complete with raisins and walnuts.
^clara’s birthday dinner: carrot soup and ham with mustard.
^ melissa with her pumpkins
